Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Server will play a vital role in creating a positive atmosphere for our guests while maintaining high standards of hospitality and food safety.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations




- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Ensure guest requests are addressed promptly and courteously
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
- Experience in hospitality, serving, or the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables effectively
