Job Posting Trip Packer / General Kitchen Help Trip packer/general kitchen helper The Cat Apron is a catering company operating for Kilcoo Camp in Ontario.

We pride ourselves in making sure every kid and staff member enjoys their time at camp by giving them 3 meals a day and snacks that they will love to so that they can keep smiling and enjoy their daily activities to the fullest! This year we are looking for trip packers/general helpers to work with us at Kilcoo in Minden Ontario starting in June until the end of August.

The trip packers/general helpers responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Packing meals for groups that are going on canoe camping trips for a few days Packing and giving snacks to camper groups every day Handling staff snacks every night Cooking ingredients needed for trips Helping in maintaining a clean and organized work setting Helping with preparation and cleanup when available Following the directions of the executive chef and sous chef Candidates need to have a positive sense of organization, multi-tasking, willingness to learn and be able to spend long periods of time on a single task.

Having cooking experiences is an advantage.

Working with us means enjoying summer in the woods near a lake with tons of outdoors activities available that our staff can enjoy during their time off.

It also means long hours ,6 days a week, in the kitchen, standing for long periods of time, sometimes lifting heavy charges, coming in earlier for time consuming meals but also gaining tons of experience, recent skills and friends! A typical day looks like: 14:00 a 16:30 19:00 a 12:00 With breaks in between.

These times are approximates and varies depending on the effectiveness of the team.

Salary is 725/week and includes room and board
