Job Summary

The Light Duty Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work workplace at the Milo-FAIS facility. This includes cleaning offices, washrooms, breakrooms, and common areas to ensure the health and safety of all employees.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Clean and disinfect offices, hallways, washrooms, and other common areas
- Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, sinks, and other surfaces in breakrooms and kitchens
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and vacuum carpets and rugs where applicable
- Dust furniture, shelving, window sills, and other surfaces
- Empty garbage and recycling containers and replace liners
- Refill washroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of shared appliances (e.g., microwaves, fridges, sinks)
- Clean interior windows, doors, walls, and other high-touch surfaces
- Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to management
- Follow all company health, safety, and sanitation procedures

Education and Experience Requirements

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred




- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience considered an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic
