We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to support the Field Accommodation Recreation Team in Foster Creek through managing and enhancing recreational projects and processes on site.
Foster Creek Fly-in/Fly-out and busing arrangements are available for this position, making it accessible to individuals outside the local area Working rotation: 8 days on and 6 days off Foster Creek has full-service camp facilities (private room/bathroom, extensive recreational facilities/dietary offerings) Air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in select locations.
Foster Creek is serviced by flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmonton Note: The application deadline for this position is Monday, May18th, 2026 at 11:59 PM (MST).
What youll do Create new and support existing projects/processes within the Cenovus Recreational Department Perform quality assurance and quality control Conduct inventory control and document management Organize recreational events, liaison with volunteer groups, and directly work with contractors Who you are Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in Canadafull-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa) Available to begin work in July 2026 Able to effectively manage fluctuating workloads and set priorities to meet deadlines.
Work independently and/or function in a team environment, concentrating on team goals and objectives.
Ability to, motivate, coach, and teach others.
Strong communication, organizational, time-management and decision-making skills Have good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
Education Must be enrolled in a Project Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or Health Sciences Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work termOR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
Working Conditions May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
Safety Sensitive Safety sensitive positions require the operation of a motor vehicle, applicants are asked to provide a recent (i.e., issued within the previous 4 weeks) original drivers abstract, for the preceding 5-year period, if offered the position. A valid Canadian class 5 Driver''s License with no restrictions (i.e., non GDL) is a requirement for this role
