Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cashier responsibilities including processing transactions accurately and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order preparation and service during busy periods
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food truck environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving, cashiering, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Understanding of sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting tasks
