Accounting/Office Manager Position

Established company looking to hire Accounting/Office Manager Position to replace retirement. This position comes with Health and Welfare benefits as well as Company sponsored RRSP. The company is very diversified, operationally we manufacture as well as supply manpower for mechanical installation/repairs and piping Installation/repairs.

Qualifications

- Knowledge and experience of full-cycle accounting process.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance team
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Payroll certification would be an asset
- Keep financial records and establish,



maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts

Key Responsibilities · Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations

· Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) functions

Process and coordinate payroll (approximately 30 employees, but can go as high as about 80)

· Perform month-end close activities, including financial reporting and variance analysis

· Prepare and submit tax remittances (GST, PST, payroll-related filings, etc.)

· Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 300 and Microsoft Excel

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
