The contract begins in May and lasts 4-6 weeks, involving intermittent inspections. You'll prepare detailed reports on inspection results and ensure materials and safety regulations are adhered to throughout the process. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of welding and coating processes
- Witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at vendor facilities
- Document inspection results and report issues found
- Review turnover documentation including MTRs and fabrication reports
- Collaborate in preparatory meetings before site attendance Requirements:
- CWB level 2 certification with coating inspection experience
- 5 years of industrial welding-related inspection experience
- 2 years in Quality Assurance/vendor surveillance inspections
- Knowledge of shipbuilding welding and painting inspections
