Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of our outdoor and indoor facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance, landscaping, and construction-related tasks, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on landscape maintenance, gardening, and infrastructure upkeep.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment, including excavators and power tools
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water distribution
- Conduct gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and landscape upkeep
- Maintain and repair outdoor structures, pathways, and other landscape features
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction and maintenance projects
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with specialists
- Support general landscape maintenance activities to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property




- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities

Skills

- Experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery preferred
- Solid knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, and horticulture principles
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and construction processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining work areas
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
