Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to our store locations from Costco Fredericton, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a robust focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to utilize skills in pallet jack operation, freight handling, and commercial driving.

Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or heavy equipment when necessary.
Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments.
Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
Assist with warehouse duties including freight handling and inventory management as needed.




Operate pallets jacks when required for loading or unloading cargo.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if necessary to ensure vehicle safety.

Experience
Prior experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred.
Valid driver’s license (class 3 with air brakes endorsement) with a clean driving record is required.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling and vehicle operation.
Ability to operate heavy machinery and commercial vehicles confidently and safely.
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and delivery accuracy. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
