Collaborating with psychiatry and emergency teams, you will de-escalate situations, administer medications, and support patients through transitions to inpatient care. This role emphasizes both clinical competence and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Code Whites and ensure protected restraint practices
• Facilitate communication among care teams
• Educate patients and families on care needs




• Conduct individual and group psychosocial assessments
• Advocate for patient rights and team-oriented care
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid BCLS and naloxone administration certification
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Commitment to cultural competency in care
• Completion of required crisis intervention training
