Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $140,000 – $220,000 (USD equivalent), plus advantages.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Technical Architect to define the architectures that the engineering organisation builds on. The role combines deep system design expertise with cross-team influence — shaping how systems fit together over the long arc.

Key Responsibilities
Define and evolve target architecture across major platform areas
Lead architecture reviews and technical decision processes
Partner with engineering teams on system design and integration patterns
Author architecture decision records, RFCs, and technical strategy documents
Mentor senior engineers and codify architectural principles
Evaluate emerging technologies and shape build-vs-buy decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications
8+ years in software engineering, with significant architecture experience
Deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
Track record of designing systems that scaled to significant load
Excellent written communication,



including RFCs and technical strategy
Experience influencing across teams without direct authority
Strong mentorship and consultative leadership style
