Role: Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $55,000 – $85,000 (USD equivalent), plus perks.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist to manage claims, denials, and payer relationships across the revenue cycle. The role combines coding fluency with payer expertise — making sure providers get paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Submit claims to payers and follow up through adjudication
Investigate and appeal denied claims with strong supporting documentation
Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and prior authorisation requirements
Maintain accurate billing data and reconcile payer remittance advice
Stay current on coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and payer policy changes
Partner with providers and clinical staff on documentation improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle operations
Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems (Epic, Athena, Kareo, AdvancedMD)




Experience with payer portals and clearinghouse workflows
Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline
Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CRC) is a plus
