Role: Shopify Developer

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $80,000 – $130,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Shopify Developer to build, customise, and optimise Shopify storefronts and apps. The role combines theme craft with app development — creating commerce experiences that convert and scale.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and customise Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS
Build custom Shopify apps using the Shopify API and up-to-date frameworks
Integrate third-party services (payment, fulfillment, marketing tools)
Optimise storefront performance, conversion, and Core Web Vitals
Implement and maintain custom checkout extensions and Shopify Functions
Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and design teams

Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years building production Shopify storefronts or apps
Strong knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Shopify CLI, Hydrogen, or Online Store 2.0
Familiarity with Shopify APIs (GraphQL Admin, Storefront, Functions)




Working knowledge of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimisation
Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and modern frontend tooling
