Penny Appeal Canada is seeking a Fund Development Officer to enhance community engagement and fundraising strategies. Make an impact by building relationships and executing fundraising initiatives.
This role is ideal for dedicated youth aged 15-30 from visible minority/racialized communities, especially current immigrants and refugees. You will design and implement fundraising strategies, ensuring successful donor stewardship, and managing fundraising events. Your strong communication skills and organization will help sustain and grow revenue from diverse sources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals
• Expand fundraising through individuals, corporations, and community groups
• Manage donor relations, acknowledgments,
and data tracking
• Execute community engagement and fundraising events year-round
• Utilize social media to promote campaigns and appeals
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
• Organized with a flexible approach to work
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 30% of the time
