Title Senior Costing Accountant Department Inventory/Costing Reports To Manager of Inventory/Costing Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Costing Accountant to join our fast-paced team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily costing activities, performing job cost analysis, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tracking of inventory and production costs.

Job Duties Perform detailed job cost analysis for mix and finished goods production Prepare daily telemarketing inventory count sheets Generate shunt lists to support inventory balancing at the distribution facility Coordinate outside storage loads and purchase order pickups for finished goods Prepare and present cost reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM) and update standard costs as required Work closely with the Costing Manager and other team members Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory and cost tracking Position Requirements 28 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Syspro or Solochain) is an asset Strong knowledge of costing principles, inventory management, and production processes Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance,



or Business Administration preferred Professional designation such as CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) (or equivalent, e.g., CMA (Certified Management Accountant)) is considered an asset Working Conditions Position is based in office in Markdale Ontario, day shift hours.

Compensation At Chapmans, compensation is guided by a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes and rewards individual contributions.

Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
