Group NB, a leading staffing and recruitment agency in the Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain industries is currently hiring a Millwright in Hannon, ON.

Conditions:

Salary: $38-$43 per hour

Schedule: 7AM - 3PM Monday to Friday

Requirements:

- Maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical and automated equipment (motors, conveyors, compressors, PLCs, etc.).
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes.
- Complete basic welding and machining tasks.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies, including after hours and weekends.
- Follow all safety programs, company policies, and proper maintenance practices.
- Monitor and adjust equipment systems (e.g., chemical baths) as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Source and requisition parts as needed.
- Work safely at heights using proper fall protection.




- Demonstrate strong decision-making skills in urgent situations.
- Work flexible shifts in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Millwright or Electrician certification is an asset
- Knowledge of overhead cranes, hydraulic equipment, furnaces, and heat exchangers
- Welding experience and ability to read technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
