Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hard working farm worker that is physically fit; enjoys the outside; is able to work on ladders and is able to lift 50lbs to join our seasonal agriculture team. This role involves working in varying climate conditions, picking, pruning and thinning fruit trees.

Paramjit Janda Farms is an apple orchard located in Vernon and Oyama, B.C. We are currently seeking seasonal farm labourers for spring/ summer harvest.

Responsibilities

- Pruning, thinning, and picking fruit crops
- Training
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Handling equipment and supplies safely

Work Conditions

- Farm experience is required
- Must follow farm rules, procedures and food safety
- Required to work in all locations: Vernon and Oyama

Experience

- Farming : required (1 year)

Expected hours: 40 - 55 hours per week
