On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a current opening for a Shipping and Receving Clerk for their Mount Elgin location.
*Must be available to start right away*
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00pm - 4:00pm
Wage: $25.00/hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages the booking of pick-up appointments with logistics companies
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics departments, customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Data/order entry
- Answers phone calls, emails and look after daily filing.
- Assemble shipping paperwork, packing slips, BOL's and labels daily for all loads.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily shipments i.e. Google Sheets
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude and enforce all safety protocols.
- Provides additional backup support for Shipping Manager
Qualifications:
- Experience working with SAP
- scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- A outstanding sense of geography and/or ability to use online maps
