Accountant
nKeenan Recruitment has been retained by a leading Accountancy firm in Bangor, to recruit for a Qualified Accountant.n
Key Responsibilities:nClient Accounts Management:nPrepare and review year-end accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
n
Taxation:nHandle VAT returns, self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax computations, and ensure all submissions comply with HMRC deadlines and regulations.
n
Bookkeeping:nSupport Clients with bookkeeping services, including bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and cash flow management.
n
Advisory Services:nProvide strategic business advice to clients, helping them with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
n
Client Liaison:nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for all their financial needs.
n
Process Improvement:nIdentify and implement efficiency improvements, both internally and for clients.
n
Criteria:nQualifications:nACA/ACCA-qualified, with a strong practice background.
n
Experience:nDemonstrable experience working in an accountancy practice, managing multiple clients and delivering comprehensive services.
n
Technical Skills:nProficient in accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
n
Compliance Knowledge:nUp-to-date knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax legislation, and compliance requirements.
n
Client-Focused:nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
n
Organised:nComfortable managing competing priorities and delivering to tight deadlines with accuracy.
n
Adaptable:nWilling to embrace technology and innovative solutions to improve service delivery.
n
Excellent salary package on offer - negotiable depending on experience.
