This role is currently vacant and we are actively hiring. 2 positions available for the night shift.

Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Reports to: Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager

n

Hours: Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 12 am – NIGHT SHIFT. Some Saturdays may be required.

n

Job Summary / Purpose

nMilling Associate will be required to operate, execute milling and blending operations, ensuring milling machines perform efficiently to meet daily requirements of the production schedule with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Milling associates will be responsible for ensuring output quality meets company standards and requirements.n

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible to adhere to and maintain and promote a positive company culture.
n
- Promote and maintain the highest level of cleanliness inside the production area and facility by routinely cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
n
- Prepare the correct equipment and supporting items in preparation for start up.
n
- Set up, calibrate, and clean machine in advance of a production cycle.
n
- Troubleshoot issues that may occur during operation of equipment.
n
- Ensure and uphold quality standards throughout the production run of milling cannabis.
n




- Responsible for ensuring documentation is correct for the entire run and all materials match up with specific runs, including Lot #, Strain, Brand, and inspections of product.
n
- Ensure and review accuracy in data entry and ensure production forms are filled out correctly and consistently.
n
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments as needed.
n
- Confirm and review accuracy on reconciliation of materials and cannabis.
n
- Ensure the team adheres to safety requirements and ensures proper PPE is always worn, including steel‑toe shoes, facemasks, respirators, hearing protection, lab coat, and gloves.
n
- Ensure the team complies with SOPs as they relate to daily work activities and compliance with regulations to the Cannabis Act.
n
- Look for opportunities for improvements, monitor outputs closely.
n
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

nn
- Must be able to read and write English and communicate with employees effectively.
n
- Must be self‑directed and motivated.
n
- Able to perform tedious/repetitive tasks with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
n
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
n
- Must have a clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted prior to start date).
n
- Work with respirator, facemask, and/or hearing protection for an extended time.
n
- Prolonged standing, lifting, squatting, and/or bending.
n
- Long hours may be required on occasion and overtime as required.
n
- Previous cannabis and/or production machine operator experience is an asset.
n
- Previous knowledge of GPP, GAP and/or GMP regulations considered an asset.
