The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a full-time (1.0 FTE) High School CTS Generalist teaching position starting August 27, 2026 at Summit Trails Online High School.

n

Summit Trails Online High School serves students from grades 10-12. For more information regarding this school, please visit their website at https://summittrails.rockyview.ab.ca/.

The successful candidate must be proficient in online platforms (i.e. Google Classroom, Moodle, Zoom). This position will require the successful applicant to attend in-person meetings and events.

Pre-employment Requirements

- Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.



To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
- New/Recent Graduates Only : In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.

- External applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
- The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
