About The Position

nNorth Battleford Comprehensive High School seeks a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher beginning August 26, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027, or the return of the employee they are replacing. This role is a Gateway Teacher within the provincially funded Invitational Shared Services Initiatives (ISSI) program.n

This role focuses on supporting Indigenous students through a Grad Coach model—building strong, respectful relationships to promote credit attainment, consistent attendance, overall school success, and on-time graduation. The candidate will collaborate with students, families, school staff, and community partners to provide responsive and culturally affirming supports.

- Providing individualized academic coaching and goal-setting for Indigenous students

- Monitoring and supporting student progress toward graduationn
- Strengthening attendance and engagement through proactive outreach

- Collaborating with classroom teachers, school teams, and community partners
n
- Supporting culturally responsive practices and inclusive learning environments
