Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid position offers an exciting prospect to develop your skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Serve food items promptly and courteously
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts




Provide attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Skills
Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous
Robust knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Effective time management to serve multiple guests simultaneously during peak hours
Robust communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $17.85-$28.00 per hour
