Maidstone Health Complex is seeking a Personal Care Assistant for casual work. Provide essential support for clients’ daily living and emotional needs while enhancing their quality of life.
This role, ideal for those holding a Continuing Care Assistant certificate, focuses on personal care and overall support for clients in their homes. Successful candidates will demonstrate solid organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure optimum functioning of those they assist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personal care and activities of daily living
• Support clients’ physical and emotional needs
• Work independently while providing attentive care
• Facilitate communication with clients and family members
• Travel as required for client visits
Requirements:
• Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
• Valid driver’s license and Food Secure certificate
• Ability to work independently and on short notice
• Adaptable availability, including holidays and weekends
• Must commit to a minimum of 24 hours every 3 weeks
