Drive employment readiness as the Pre-Employment Supports Coordinator with SERDC, delivering case management services to Income Assistance clients in Berens River, Little Grand Rapids, and Pauingassi. This term role focuses on empowering clients to achieve job readiness and reduce dependency.
You will engage deeply with each community's Income Assistance teams, executing tailored assessments and case planning that cater to the unique needs of the population. Regular travel is expected to facilitate workshops and ongoing support in each community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing case management and client follow-ups
• Conduct client assessments and develop action plans
• Facilitate community workshops for skills development
• Track program statistics and client outcomes
• Collaborate with various local service providers
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related area
• 3-5 years in case management or social development
• Understanding of Income Assistance program policies
• Solid organizational and analytical skills
• Valid MB Driver's License required
