We have a recent role for a Technical Writer working within our Engineering Department.

We envision that this would be a more junior member of a seasoned team, offering you the ability to learn and grow.

Initially the role will consist of: Assisting with compliance documents and installation/ maintenance manuals for Sonar project requirements (Jira, MS Word) Creating Information Sheets and Field Modifications to support mainstream broadcast equipment (Jira, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat) Participating in Continuous Improvement activities, including AI initiatives (Jira, HTML, AI tools such as CoPilot) Eventually the role will expand to: Creating technical instruction manuals to support custom systems (Jira, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat) Developing larger documentation suites (Frame

The Technical Writing team serves as an internal service bureau for services that may include marketing, copywriting, technical editing, technical illustrations, USB creation, HTML page creation/editing, and computer-based training development; The team performs the entire information product development process: gathering detailed requirements for information products, designs the information products, authors documents, conducts reviews, manages documentation releases and version control.

The ideal job-holder would, ideally, have a technical background in electronics, strong writing and editing skills.

They would also have the ability to be able to understand how our products work and be able to present that information within the handbooks we produce for our products.
