Job Description The and invites applicants to apply for a family physician positionin a rural family medicine practice based in the town of Arcola.

The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team providing healthcare services to the residents of

Arcola and surrounding area as well as work collaboratively with other medical professionals to support the acute care and emergency services in the area.

This practice offers a full range of services, which would include admitting privileges and access to the area''s primary health care resources such as home care, mental health and addictions, chronic disease management, public health, etc.

The SHA is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the educational needs of medical students, residents, nursing staff and allied health professionals.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to become involved in the academic efforts in the Department of Family Medicine in our area.

This position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to the posted closing date.

Relocation Package The successful candidate may be eligible for: 3 months free housing from the Moose Mountain Health Care Corp.

The which provides up to $200,000 over five years to family physicians practising, or returning to practice,



in rural and remote communities in Saskatchewan The , which provides financial reward to physicians who practise full time in the province for extended periods of time ranging from $7,000 - $14,000 per year.

Job Qualifications All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; in accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a Criminal Record Check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member.

The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient, resident, or client care to vulnerable persons.
