We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Grade 4 teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will design engaging, literacy- and numeracy-rich learning experiences that support a wide range of student needs through thoughtful differentiation. You will foster a stimulating, inclusive, and caring classroom environment, with a robust focus on student-centered learning.
A passion for student learning and the ability to engage and inspire all learners is essential. Strong communication skills and a commitment to building trusting relationships with students and families are key to success in this role. Candidates who contribute positively to the broader life of the school through clubs, teams, or community events, and who embrace the unique aspects of rural school life, will be highly valued. Alignment with Prairie Land's vision of student-centered learning will be considered an asset.
This is a full-time probationary position commencing the first day of the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering the Alberta curriculum at the Grade 4 level. Preference will be given to applicants with training and experience in elementary education.
