Norm's Auto Refinishing is a well-established Autobody Shop (ICBC-accredited auto body shop and collision repair center). We are currently looking for a 3rd Year Apprentice / Licensed Red-Seal Auto Body Technician! A relocation allowance is available!

You will repair all vehicle makes and models in a bright, well-laid-out shop.

Key Responsibilities

- Vehicle Repair & Restoration: Perform high-quality repairs on vehicle bodies, including dent removal, frame straightening, panel replacement, and refinishing.
- Body Panel Work: Remove, replace, and repair damaged panels, fenders, doors, and other body components using welding, riveting, and bonding techniques.
- Frame & Structural Repair: Utilize frame straightening equipment to restore vehicle integrity according to manufacturer specifications.
- Surface Preparation & Painting: Sand, mask, prime, and refinish vehicles using spray guns and various paint-matching techniques to achieve factory-quality finishes.
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG, TIG, and spot welding on various materials, including steel and aluminum, to restore vehicle structures.
- Parts Installation: Install new or refurbished body parts, including bumpers, glass, trim, and other vehicle components.

Technical Skills & Experience:

- Strong knowledge of auto body repair and refinishing techniques
- Experience with frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement
- Proficiency in plastic repair, welding, and structural repair
- Familiarity with paint preparation, blending, and refinishing
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and computerized measuring systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
