Position Title: Distribution Lead Hand

McCain Fertilizer is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Lead Hand to join our team at our distribution center in Florenceville, NB. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control and distribution management of crop protection and crop input products.

We are open to filling this position on either a full-time or seasonal basis, depending on the right candidate. Given that activity in this role is concentrated in the spring and summer growing seasons, a seasonal arrangement may be a great fit for someone who values that schedule. For the right full-time candidate, there would be an opportunity to transition to supporting operations at our fertilizer plant during the winter months, keeping you engaged and contributing year-round.

What You'll Do

- Manage inventory control and distribution of crop protection and crop input products
- Oversee shipping and receiving of chemicals and fertilizers in and out of the distribution center
- Ensure customer deliveries and intra-McCain shipments are created and fulfilled on time
- Update inventory information and create delivery or transfer documents with a high degree of accuracy
- Receive orders from the Sales team and coordinate with the Shipper/Receiver and Delivery Driver to prepare and fulfill orders
- Perform other tasks as assigned and required

What You Bring

- Experience in shipping and receiving
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities
- Must hold, or be able to obtain, a non-Domestic Pesticide Vendor Certificate
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience with agricultural crop inputs is considered an asset
- Ability to lift 25 kg

- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

Additional Information

- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends during peak seasons
- Must be able to operate effectively without on-site supervision

Compensation Package: - Starting at 23 CAD hourly
