Red Road Recovery in partnership with Tsilhqot’in Nation is looking for an experienced Executive Director to Open and Manage our newest venture, Red Road River!

n

Located an hour outside of Williams Lake, our 3 Stage Treatment Centre is located on over 100 acres of untouched, awe-inspiring scenery.

n

POSITION SUMMARY The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance and success of our inpatient addiction treatment facility.

n

The position is accountable for client care, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and managing financial performance (P&L; and capital expenditures) of the centre.

n

The Executive Director will also ensure an atmosphere of effective, high quality customer service to both patients and their referents, and promoting a dignified and professional treatment environment for our clients, residents and staff.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

Responsible for the leadership and administration of Inpatient Services. Oversees

n

Operations Manager, Clinical Services, Food Services and Maintenance

n

Responsible for the fiscal management of the programs, including management of budgeted census, revenue and expenses.

n

Collaborates with the Senior Director of Programming and Clinical Oversight and clinical team to ensure consistent communication and alignment with treatment goals of clinical team, referent, and patient.

n

Develops and fosters a strong customer service atmosphere within all programs and services. Monitors client satisfaction in this area.

n





Contributes to the development of a system-wide quality improvement plan based on policies designed to ensure the delivery of services that are consistent, effective, and productive.

n

Ensures team effectiveness through hiring of qualified staff, coordinating orientation and training,

n

Work with HR to facilitate recruitment and retention, following progressive discipline guidelines, and ensuring that personnel are qualified and able to provide a high level of service.

n

Oversees implementation and rollout of new programming initiatives as directed by

n

Executive Leadership Team

n

Ensure policies and procedures are current with all regulatory requirements and that policies around employee and patient conduct are strictly and uniformly enforced.

n

Ensures adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards such as in patient record management.

n

Facilitates regular management team meetings and other meetings as required.

n

Performs other related duties as assigned.

n

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION

n

Experience in inpatient services, inpatient addiction or mental health treatment field

n

Post secondary education is required and a masters degree in social work, counseling,

n

human services, business administration or closely related field would be an asset.

n





Proven management experience leading a large team in a healthcare environment.

n

Strategic thinker with experience in budget development and management.

n

Experience working with CARF accreditation standards preferred.

n

Authentic, humble and mindful leadership skills.

n

Fluent understanding of 12-step recovery programs.

n

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and

n

Outlook.

n

Must have excellent verbal, social, public speaking and writing skills.

n

Must have a bias for action and independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and emergencies.

n

Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
