As Deputy Corporate Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our municipality. Collaborating with the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Mayor, and Regional Council, you will supervise corporate services staff, support council functions, and lead legislative initiatives. This dynamic position allows you to make meaningful contributions to the community while enhancing your leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor front-line Corporate Services staff
- Coordinate council agendas and record accurate meeting minutes




- Research and draft bylaws and policies adhering to regulations
- Assist the public during events and manage community engagements
- Act as a Statutory Officer to certify documents when necessary

Requirements

- Degree/diploma in Public Sector or related field
- At least two years in a supervisory role
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of Local Government legislation
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
