NIKE FLAG FOOTBALL COACHES WANTED – SUMMER CAMPS (WOODBRIDGE & MARKHAM)

We are currently seeking an experienced Flag Football Coach to lead our Nike Flag Football Summer Camps across two locations.

This position includes:

- 2 weeks of coaching at Markham Sports Dome
- 3–4 weeks of coaching at Woodbridge Sports Dome

Coaches may rotate between locations depending on scheduling needs. This is a total of approximately 5–6 weeks of summer camp coaching.

We are looking for a coach who can deliver high-quality sessions, develop players across all skill levels, and create an engaging, competitive, and positive learning environment. Having your own flag football equipment is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Instruction & Coaching

- Teach fundamental flag football skills (passing, catching, route running, defense, game IQ)
- Adapt coaching to various skill levels (beginner to advanced)
- Run structured drills, small-sided games, and competitions
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to athletes

2. Program Development

- Plan and deliver daily training sessions (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Create weekly camp plans aligned with performance and development goals
- Adjust sessions based on player needs and engagement

3. Safety & Supervision

- Ensure a safe environment and follow all camp safety protocols
- Supervise athletes during training, games, and transitions

4. Leadership & Mentorship

- Act as a positive role model, promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Build a supportive and inclusive environment
- Mentor athletes interested in progressing in football

5. Communication & Collaboration





- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff
- Work collaboratively with other coaches and camp coordinators

6. Equipment Management

- Set up and organize equipment for all sessions
- Bringing your own flag football equipment is a bonus

Qualifications

- Previous experience playing and/or coaching flag football (competitive level preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage groups of 10–20 athletes
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for youth development through sport

Responsibilities Overview

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
