Summary

nWe’re looking for a reliable Journeyperson (or 4th year) who takes pride in quality repairs, works efficiently, and respects shop processes.n

As a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for accurate diagnosis, efficient repairs, and clear communication to ensure work is completed correctly the first time.

This role suits a technician who is experienced, driven, accountable, and comfortable working in a professional shop environment.

' Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of cars and light trucks.

- Perform accurate repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair procedures.
n
- Clearly document and communicate whether future work is recommended (manufacturer guidelines)



or required (worn, failed, or safety-related components).
n
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
n
- Identify and communicate any necessary repairs or maintenance issues that may affect vehicle performance or reliability.
n
- Accurately complete work orders and technician notes
n
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding work completed
n
- Supervise and support Apprentices when required
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
n
- Attend all required technical and Government required training as per company’s training policies.
n
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and provincial regulations
n

nQualificationsn

n
- Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal an asset)
n
- 3–5 years automotive repair experience
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
n
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
n
- Reliable, punctual, and skilled
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
- Proficient with computerized diagnostic tools and equipment
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals
n
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs
n
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
n
- Safety-first mindset with knowledge of WHMIS and OH&S; regulation
n

nPay: $30.00-$42.00 per hourn
