The Surly Mermaid, a vibrant and busy restaurant in the beautiful Sidney by the sea is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment and possesses excellent cocktail knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages to customers
n
- Ensure all beverages are consistently prepared and presented to our standards
n
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area and ensure inventory is stocked
n
- Engage with customers in a friendly and qualified manner
n
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
n
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu offerings, including ingredients and allergens
n
nRequirements:nn
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a busy bar/restaurant environment
n
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
n
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
n
