and Thanking the customer Actively seek customers throughout the store and escort customers to appropriate merchandise, regardless of department Ask open ended questions about the customer’s projects in order to determine their needs and level of expertise Drives Sales Discuss available options (positive, better, best) and suggest related items/services outside of department that the customer may need Educate customers about the whole project Using empowerment program when necessary to satisfy customers Follows all safety policies and procedures, Loss Prevention policies and procedures Customer Focus Travel Requirements: ~ No travel requirements Working within a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekends Doors are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Years of Work Experience: ~1 to 2 years Retail or Trade experience an asset Other Requirements/Assets: ~
