We are hiring a dedicated full time onsite professional who understands the importance of showing up for their teammates every day to support our production team at West End Radiators. The Parts Advisor will be someone with a customer service mindset and a genuine willingness to help customers solve their problems. Communication is key in this role. We are looking for someone with strong verbal and written communication skills, a professional phone presence. Someone who can build trust with customers, create repeat business and is comfortable recommending products and closing sales opportunities.

What you will do:

- Support frontline sales/service staff with day-to-day sourcing & procurement of ‘one-off’ items.
- Greet and assist customers in person and by phone.
- Provide product expertise and relevant parts recommendations to customers.
- Work with Purchasing Team on stock orders, highlighting trends in product flow (i.e. new items becoming popular, items reducing in popularity, etc.) to enable stock shipments meet forecasted demand.
- Work with Material Handler Tech to ensure needed supplies are ordered/directed to Purchasing Team
- Work with Sales Team to maintain and update prices on products as needed.
- Understand customer requirements and gather detailed information.
- Confidently answer customer enquiries
- Research and collect information on parts and equipment from various sources.
- Utilizing search engines and navigating websites




- Issue purchase orders and maintain organized records.
- Provide accurate quotes in a timely manner.
- Communicate and work as a team within all departments.
- Complete and maintain Customs Documentation needed for outbound shipments.
- Contact Customs Broker for any needed Customs Documentation inquiries.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:

- Minimum 3 years experience in parts sales, industrial inside sales, heavy-duty equipment parts, automotive parts, trucking parts, or related aftermarket sales
- Proven experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and handling customer inquiries.
- Experience sourcing products from multiple suppliers and comparing options.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify parts and understand equipment applications.
- Ability to interpret customer needs and match the correct product or solution.
- Knowledge of heat exchangers, radiators, charge air coolers, heavy truck, industrial, agricultural, or equipment parts is a strong asset.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and accountable
- Sense of urgency and strong follow-through
- Able to work under pressure without sacrificing accuracy.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong ability to provide customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills, verbally and in writing




- Ability to multi-task in a timely fashion
- General mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and web-based supplier research
- Ability to maintain organized records, pricing files, and customer documentation.
- Experience with customs/shipping paperwork is an asset.
- SAP and ERP experience would be considered an asset.
