Select is partnering with our client to recruit a skilled and reliable Framer / Carpenter to support commercial and/or residential construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on framing experience who can read plans, work efficiently on-site, and take pride in building quality structures from the ground up.

Compensation & Hours:
• The rate of pay will be $24–30/hr, depending on experience
• Full time hrs & temporary position
• Weekend work required
Position Summary:
• Perform wood framing for residential or commercial construction
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and measurements
• Build walls, floors, roofs, and structural frameworks
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently




• Work closely with team members to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow all safety standards and procedures
Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience in framing or carpentry
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Strong measuring and layout skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically capable of lifting and working in a demanding environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Own tools are an asset
Bonus Points For:
• Journeyman or apprentice carpentry certification
• Experience in residential or commercial framing
• Fall protection or safety certifications
• Experience with concrete forming or finishing carpentry
