:
- Metal core (MCAW) welding on structural steel building components
- Operate various welding equipment and tools to weld in various positions (., Vertical/Horizontal)
- Set up wire fed welding machines manually using control buttons
- Review structural drawings for steel beams, columns, and other building components that form complete structures
- Operate overhead cranes to transport workpieces and metal components
Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment college program or equivalent experience
- Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification (Block 1)
- Recent Brunswick Class B Welder's Certificate a definite asset
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in structural steel welding
- Able to work rotating shifts, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights
