Salary range (but not limited to):
101,800 - 124,400
Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles.

About the role
The FinOps team is growing and is seeking a Lead DevOps specialized in AWS/GCP Cloud to accelerate and drive the cross-functional activation of these capabilities through solution, practices and expertise
As a Lead DevOps in our FinOps team, you will design and operate the internal FinOps platform at IFC (Data, Automation, Integrations) to steer cost governance,
optimization and forecasting at scale across AWS, GCP and Azure.
The role emphasizes on cloud environments, data integration and handling, ensuring our solutions and integrations are deployed and managed in scalable, secure, and cost-effective manner.
This is a technical expert role with high autonomy, collaborating closely with Infrastructure, Finance, Data/AI, and product teams.
What you’ll do here:
- Support the FinOps team as a Cloud Specialist in a multicloud environement
- Collaborate with developers and business units to onboard and enable platform capabilities.
- Build and maintain cost ingestion and normalization pipelines (CUR/Exports/BigQuery) into a common warehouse; ensure data quality and invoice reconciliation.
- Implement and maitain end-to-end solutions across IT and business domains, enhancing platform performance through DevOps best practices.
- Propose, execute, and manage automation strategies for software development and deployment using CI/CD pipelines (Github) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Lead and validate proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to prototype solutions for large-scale deployment.
- Perform code reviews, provide mentoring, and guide the team, with a focus on upskilling junior profiles in DevOps.
- Design and implement robust, secure, and flexible deployment solutions.
- Autonomously manage and, when necessary,
escalate software/system observability issues.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data needs are met by robust solutions.
- Define and track key platform performance metrics to ensure proactive operational responses.
- Prepare environment dashboards and manage alerts, reporting on health, usage, and availability.
- Enable seamless multi-cloud/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution integrations and manage configurations.
- Produce, review, and maintain architecture documentation, defining best practice frameworks and guidelines.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience and proficiency with CI/CD best practices using tools such as GitHub Actions
- Technical leadership experience
- 6+ years of DevOps experience, with significant expertise in cloud environments (AWS required, GCP and Azure are assets).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with serverless technologies.
- Knowledgeof Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/Openshift.
- Experience designing ETL pipelines
- Ability to build dashboards with toos like Power BI is a plus; open source tools are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure, engineering, finance, and business teams.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
