- Class 3 Flight Instructor Licence (CL3) with Class 2 (CL2) in progress or obtained
- Multi-Engine IFR qualification with a minimum of 300 flying hours
- Frozen ATPL or graduate of an integrated ATPL programme
- Minimum of 1,000 hours flight instruction
- Passing the AIRAT exam
- Experience teaching theory to Class 4 instructors (CL4)
- Experience in an aviation college or in the college network (asset)
- Experience as a theory instructor leading students to pass the SARON and SAMRA exams
- Category 1 Medical Certificate
