Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Drone Pilot based in Ottawa, ON. The Drone Pilot will be responsible for planning and executing UAV operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, conducting pre- and post-flight inspections, and maintaining safe and effective drone operations.
The role also includes capturing high-quality data, training with new drone technologies, and working collaboratively with team members to meet project objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Drone Piloting and UAV operations
- Experience with Drones and thorough understanding of drone technology
- Skills in Piloting with a focus on safety and precision
- Experience in providing training or knowledge sharing on drone operations
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety guidelines
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and troubleshooting
- A Transport Canada Pilot Certificate is required
- Ability to work in varying outdoor environments and weather conditions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is a strong asset
