Our client is a leading architectural firm known for its innovative and sustainable design solutions. This firm operates across various sectors including multifamily residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and transportation and has offices across the country. They are seeking an Architect to join their team in the Edmonton Studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a firm recognized for its creative approach, use of cutting-edge technology and design methodologies. *this is a hybrid role
Responsibilities:
Provide design leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects of varying scale and complexity
Collaborate with architects and technologists to deliver high-quality design and construction documentation
Develop project criteria, scopes of service, detailed work plans, schedules, and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Lead multiple concurrent projects while ensuring design quality, technical excellence, and efficiency
Drive design excellence through the development of concepts, presentation materials, and participation in stakeholder and client meetings
Resolve complex design and technical challenges
Lead, mentor, and support project teams to achieve successful outcomes
Coordinate effectively with project consultants, including mechanical, electrical,
and structural teams
Manage and maintain robust client relationships throughout the project process
Oversee construction documentation, conduct site reviews, and support construction administration to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest standard
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10+ years experience in architecture, must be registered with AAA or equivalent.
Bachelors or Masters in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
Robust proficiency in Revit
Previous experience working on multi-family residential (wood-frame) projects is required. Experience with additional project types, including commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects, is considered an asset
Service‑ and relationship‑oriented approach with a client‑focused mindset
Demonstrated ability to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute positively to team culture
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain new and existing client relationships
The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package $90,000 - $115,000 (depending on experience), health & dental advantages, 3 weeks’ vacation and paid parking.
