Our client, a leading consultancy in the rail sector, is currently seeking a BIM Lead to join their team. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and implement the project‑wide BIM strategy aligned with client requirements, lifecycle needs, and delivery objectives

Lead the configuration and oversight of digital design systems, including ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), to ensure seamless team collaboration

Develop, maintain, and enforce the Design BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM Uses to guide consistent, high‑quality model development across disciplines

Provide technical leadership for multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring consistent application of Civil 3D, Revit, and digital best practices throughout all phases of design

Work collaboratively with Construction BIM teams to align digital delivery workflows from design through execution

Monitor Design BIM team performance and report insights, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Design Manager

Mentor junior staff, elevate modelling standards, and contribute to the evolution of national/regional BIM methodologies

Job Requirements





Experience in BIM delivery for complex infrastructure projects, ideally within rail and transit environments

Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, ACC, and model‑based collaboration tools

Understanding and application of ISO 19650 standards

Hands‑on experience developing and enforcing BIM execution plans and ensuring compliance with BIM/CAD standards

Proven experience leading senior designers, modellers, and multi‑office teams in a matrix environment

Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in evolving project environments

Bonus: Experience with Dynamo/Python scripting, design automation, or AR/VR applications in infrastructure modelling
