Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Lead (Full-Time) – Eataly Eaton Centre

Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace. Each Eataly is unique in character and theme, yet all aim to provide guests with an elevated experience.

About the Role

The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Lead supervises and runs day‑to‑day operations of the QSR counters, reporting to the QSR Manager and overseeing QSR Sales Associates and Baristas.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure smooth operations and high hospitality standards.
- Train, motivate, mentor and organize team members.
- Purchase supplies, beverages and equipment as directed by the QSR Manager; monitor inventory, check orders and distribute supplies as needed.
- Manage transactions and ensure accurate accounting.
- Record shift notes and assist with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed.
- Ensure the department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards.
- Document, investigate and resolve guest incidents.




- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

- High school graduate or equivalent; post‑secondary degree preferred.
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food service.
- Strong math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
- Solid knowledge of the steps of service.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of coffee production.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred.

Job Requirements

- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to exert well‑paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
- Ability to operate equipment such as a manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register.

Compensation

- C$20.00 hourly plus tips.
