Purpose:

This position is responsible for planning & forecasting, management reporting, business case analysis and ad-hoc projects and analytics. They work with others within the finance team and other business units to support financial planning initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

>
- Working with the finance and business unit teams to complete month end reporting packages featuring KPI and financial statement reporting with variance explanations
- Looking beyond the numbers and providing actionable insights. These will help guide strategies, optimizing performance, and ultimately help achieve our business objectives.
- Assist in preparation of Board Presentations
- Assist with the development of an annual budget and forecasts as required




- Support the business unit teams in business case preparation and ad‑hoc analysis as required
- Help develop and implement systems and processes to enable product, business unit, customer and supplier reporting
- Assist in the development, implementation and reporting of key performance metrics
- Support and provide analysis of store and customer profitability analysis
- The successful candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent systems capability, a strong attention to detail and meet necessary deadlines

Qualifications:

- A post‑secondary degree in accounting or finance
- Ideally have an MBA/CPA or working towards completion of MBA/CPA
- 5‑10 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or in similar analytical roles.

Skills:

- Highly organized with an eye for detail, ability to work independently and strong time management skills
- Experience with various technology platforms and software, MS Office with an advanced ability working with Excel
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability as a problem solver who takes initiative and is solutions‑oriented




- Ability to maintain confidentiality is mandatory
- Ability to prioritize, plan and robust sense of urgency
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle several tasks at once
- Excellent with numbers and a high level of accuracy
- Good writing and communications skills
- Liaise with all levels of the organization in a professional, courteous manner
