Job Overview

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for a qualified Daytime Working Supervisor for an immediate position located in the Ottawa area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 600 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise, coordinate, and plan the work of employees.
- Conduct monthly inspections of the facilities (including monitoring inventory and supplies).




- Ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment.
- Perform cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Complete orientation and training of all recent staff.
- Submit time‑off requests, disciplinary reports, accident reports, and other supervisor reports.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, or other services.
- Monitor and maintain Domus standards of cleanliness.

Required Skills / Abilities

- Supervisor experience within the cleaning industry (commercial, industrial, or office).
- Advanced reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Physical abilities: standing, kneeling, walking up to 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and French.
