Support derivatives compliance as a driven Markets Compliance Officer. Engage with regulatory requirements across Canada and the United States, focusing on CFTC obligations and provincial regulations.
In this hybrid position based in Toronto, you’ll manage compliance with Canadian and US derivatives regulations. Your role will involve liaising with front-line sales teams, conducting oversight on derivatives products, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. You will also perform compliance monitoring and assist in delivering training across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight for US and Canadian derivatives offerings
• Advise sales teams on regulatory obligations
• Ensure compliance with CSA and CFTC requirements




• Liaise with regulators during inquiries and audits
• Develop policies and procedures for compliance management
Requirements:
• University degree in law, finance, or economics
• Experience in derivatives compliance in Canada or US
• Knowledge of CFTC obligations for non-swap dealers
• Solid analytical and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Enhance compliance frameworks by ensuring regulators’ standards are met and policies are effectively implemented across North America.
