Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Dispatcher role, primarily based in Guelph, ON. The Junior Dispatcher will assist to coordinate and assign transportation schedules, oversee and track driver activities, and provide real-time support to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records, communicating with internal and external stakeholders,
and assisting in resolving route and delivery issues as they occur.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage and adjust schedules efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software, data entry, and record-keeping practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of transportation operations or dispatch is an asset but not required.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with the North American geography
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in logistics is a plus.
