Basic Functions
Supports tenant relations in compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act and company policies, working under general supervision within a team.
Principal Accountabilities
- Handle inquiries and provide community information.
- Move‑In/Move‑Out Coordination: Conduct tenant orientation and unit viewings.
- Prepare, explain, and provide lease documents.
- Turn over keys and complete condition reports.
- Tenant Management: Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and lease violations with follow‑ups.
- Prepare applications, documentation, and attend court hearings if needed.
- Process lease renewals, rent calculations, and overdue accounts.
- Maintain updated tenant files (hard copy & digital).
Follow tenant account collection policies and retention programs.
- Use Property Management software proficiently.
- Stay updated on Residential Tenancy Act changes.
- Assist in special projects and community initiatives.
- Prepare and present internal/external reports.
- Stay informed on community services and programs.
- Maintain confidentiality and qualified ethics.
- Attend meetings (on-site/off-site).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Yardi.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to stressful tenant situations, time-sensitive demands, and potential verbal/physical threats.
- Adverse weather and driving conditions when traveling within the community.
- Potential contact with communicable diseases and pests in rental units.
